Just wondering if anyone knows what leaf springs from another vehicle will fit on the bj70 and what kind of lift that results in ?

Short of actually measuring and counting the leafs then going to a wrecking yard to compare I thought maybe someone knows what would fit ?

Thinking if we can pin point what vehicle that is we can save some $$$ !

Standens in Calgary is roughly $1600. compared to OME at $2100.

Just looking for a decent alternative or if re-arcing is a decent way to go ?

Cody Rusow from RockTactics (formerly), posted this some years ago on pirate. Phenomenal resource for those running springs. Thanks for sharing this again.
Oh, a little pointer for those who have to drill to recenter springs; use a masonry bit. They chew right through spring steel. If you attempt to use regular bits you will go through hand fulls of them (don't ask me how I know).
Pay close attention to the spring rate of the listed springs and be prepared to buy a couple of sets of spring packs from the same model of vehicle to build your own packs.

Hi all,

IIRC, the HD 70 Series SWB uses the same dimension rear leaf springs as does the 60/62 Series wagons. Front leaf springs between the two vehicles have different part numbers.

Regards,

Alan
