Title pretty much says it all!

I'm trying to get a feel of a good method of shipping trucks. I know a lot depends on if you are shipping one or 10 and how far.

So, i'm thinking it would be great to drive the cruisers out to Moab, wheel them, then drop them off at the Moab airport to a car hauler who then will drive them back to NC while I/we fly back.

Anyone know a private operator that we could hire? Or, have any idea how to get a cruiser onto a car hauler? Any webpages that you suggest?

If you go online and ask for a quote you will be bombarded with shipping quotes from numerous hauling companies. I made that mistake once. I got a quote from Raleigh to Denver and all were $1000 plus one way. And seeing some of the hack job hauling outfits out there on the highway makes me very cautious about shipping a vehicle, especially my truck.

My cruiser is out west now, as I'm doing a couple of other trips, but when it's done I'm likely going to ship it back.

I made contact with a guy on Expo who has done Work with a lot of the members. I'll dig that up and send it.

I used these guys when I won the raffled 62 a few years ago

Hold the phone, you won the TLCA built and raffled off FJ62? That's flipping awesome. Do you still have it?

Isn't there a vendor that pipes up every now and again about where he is now and where he is going next and how much room he has?

I would check the mudship section.

Aaron is a great guy and the one that shipped the troopie back from Colorado. He was a pleasure to work with and happy to be supporting a mud member/cruiserhead.
