Hi,

Small quick question. when at idle and gear in D, the J200 does not creep quickly enough (when AC is off) at low rpm. The J200 does not move if placed at a very slight inclined road (rather tends to move backward) or if its in a pothole, it does not move. Even in slow moving traffic, i need to tap the gas pedal and apply brakes.

I also have J120 with same V6 Engine and gear, that drives/creeps really good anywhere, be it traffic or potholes or inclined roads.

Am i looking at a torque converter replacement for the J200?

Did you ever solve the vibration issue you previously reported? Sometimes problems are related. Has the transmission been serviced? How about the brakes; are they dragging? What is the idle rpm for the V6?

Not yet fully, the shivering (in steering wheel and body) is still present at highway speeds.
The transmission oil was changed about 20k kms before and at the time of changed i had inspected the oil, it was good with no metal parts/shavings.
The brakes are good, dont give me a sound or vibrate while braking (which were changed at the same time)
The idle rpm without AC is somewhere arnd 600rpm and with AC arnd 900rpm.
I believe the previous owner never changed the TC as its not obvious (no gear slipping, no A/T temp warning, no shuddering when accelerating)

This problem was present since the beginning (since purchased). Also the gear kind of jerks when decelerating, when its downshifting the gears, i get a kind of a jerk especially 4 to 3.

I'd check simple things first before going down the torque converter road. Things that come to mind are dirty MAF sensor, dirty engine air filter, dirty fuel injectors, bad PCV valve, etc.

Do you have a computer or something that can pull fuel trims?

well i have covered all of it.

MAF Sensor - Cleaned about 2 Months
Air Filter - Replaced with new ones about a month ago
Fuel Injectors - Removed and cleaned about 3 months ago
PCV Valve - will check on this

the problem remained before and after the works done.

That what i dont understand, which led me to assume something related to TC.
