That thing seems BUILT! He's gotta be on here. I think it even has a TLCA sticker

I'm not sure if this qualifies as the "ultimate" creeper post, but over the past week I've been keeping a tally on the total number of Land Cruisers I pass each day. If you know anyone who uses Excel for their job, you'll know that they enjoy putting things in spreadsheets, and that's what I've done here.

A couple of notes:
-My daily driving consists primarily of driving from home to the office, I usually run home for lunch, and then back again. Each trip is 4 miles one way, so around 16 miles daily. My route is basically from one side of Mountain Brook to the other. Of course I do some other driving too, but that's sort of the baseline.
-There are several Land Cruisers that I see on a daily basis, and have excluded them. They are:
-Neighbor with 100 series
-Neighbor with 80 series
-Two 200 series at my office park
-Two 100 series at my office park
-An 80 series at my office park
-Another 100 series that belongs to a guy in my office building, who also owns an 80 series that I sometimes see
-A red 60 series that's parked at a house on Montevallo Road
-That's a total of 10 Land Cruisers that I see basically every day.

Here's my list from the past week:

So, I see around 14 Land Cruisers every day. If you add in the 10 that I recognize each day that were excluded, that's 24. Of course, a few of these could have been double-counted (on a single day, that is), and I might have accidentally mistaken a Highlander for a 200 once or twice, but I still think it's pretty interesting, especially considering how relatively short my commute is.

I second that!

Ok so @tripreed has completely creeped (see what I did there, but it's also literal, not just figurative!) everyone out, so I hereby move he's officially censured. BTW my thumb is on the table, and not it!

Well, let me put it this way. It seems like Land Cruisers are fairly uncommon cars, hence the reason we have a "creeper" thread. However, it seemed to me like I see a lot of them on my daily drive, and decided to quantify that, which I did. I didn't take photos or write down license plate numbers, I just counted, and presented the results here. I'm really convinced that Mountain Brook might be the highest Land Cruiser-per-capita city in the US, and that's just something I find interesting. If you find it creepy, sorry.

200 series don't count because they look too much like a RAVlander.

You know, I used to feel the same way, but the more I've looked at them, the more they've grown on me. Which is good, since by the time it comes to replace the 100, maybe the 200s will have depreciated to the point where I can actually afford one.

Back to our regular programming.

Saw a 70 today at IMAX at McWane

Settle down. I guess sarcasm doesn't travel well over the internet. I just found the chart quite funny. I mean if I were still single, with no kids or wife and had free time I'm sure I'd make charts of stuff all the time.

I agree. Which is actually why I don't really creep hunnerds anymore. Prior to moving to bham I used to creep anything cruiser, heck I'd even stop a PT Cruiser! (sarcasm there).... but now... hunnerds are just too much here. literally. There will be two in the Summitt at any given time, and I was driving through there 4-6 times a day when I first moved up here. So I stopped creeping anything below 97 unless its built.

Hellz no.

All that said... taking a pic in traffic is spontaneous. A spreadsheet?! Naw. That ain't spontaneous.

There's a red 60-series down there!

It's this guy... Broke down at the outback.

So I sat there with him until the junk yard came and got it for scrap. I ate this:

 Did you let your dog have any of the leftover of that slab of tongue you ordered?

Last night had some guy in Jasper try to buy the 60, told him $50k.
