so it was a while ago since i have ordered some green led's for the step/courtesy lights and i replaced them, what happened was that when i was doing that i put an led the opposite way of polarization and initially i thought a fuse got burned, so i checked all the fuses they were ok, and found the courtesy fuse right behind the fire extinguisher it is a glass fuse, i replaced it with a new one and found that one of the leds is getting the fuse burned so i just removed all courtesy lights and ordered new led's for them, now yesterday i installed them I noticed something really strange, that when all doors are closed the turn on, and when i open a door they turn off, i thought it might be a fuse polarization or some thing so i pulled the fuse and drive for a mile and noticed that the dash indicates a door is open but it was dim, i put back the fuse and the dim indicator of open door in the dash was gone but still the courtesy is acting the other way, I disconnected the negative terminal of the battery before i go to bed hoping it will reset the ecu!

Sounds like a switch or sensor got hit and is operating in reverse order. You said when you open the door they go off? An when you shut it they go on? Is this correct?

exactly! i tried disconnect and connect the fuse while the doors are closed, maybe that triggered the switch to act in reverse, but nothing really changed.
I really like them were they illuminate while driving, but the down side is that they stay on even when the engine is off.
