My coutesy lights and "door open" warning light sometimes flash very rapidly.
It sets the alarm off so, I have had to disarm it.
Unfortunately, it is an intermittant problem so, will probably be very difficult to find!
Few examples:
I lock the Landcruiser and the lights start to flash. I unlock it and they stop.
I get inside and close the door and they start to flash again.
I start the engine and they stop.
I noticed that if I banged the back hatch it stopped, so I disconnected that switch and the problem seemed to be cured. That was two months ago.
It has now started again and sometimes, even happens when I am driving.
I still find that when I hit the back hatch it sometimes stops, but not always and that switch is still disconnected!
Any suggestions would be very welcome.
Thanks,
Dominic.

Door switches can be problematic, dust or moisture in them, they switch to earth so a rubbed wire chaffing through to earth can cause this problem. Try lifting the rubber cover off each switch and give them a squirt of water dispersent and actively push the switch in and out while squirting so the fluid gets into the switch and washes out the water or dust and helps make contact, or better still, pull each switch, blow out with compressor, squirt with fluid, blow out again. Not sure if your bonnet switch is part of your door light activation circuit(I doubt it) but worth checking while you are at it.

Thanks 100TD!
I did what you advised and so far so good!
