NO kidding. I assembled mostly in the garage and carried it all around back. Crazy chinese directions

How many "extra" parts did you end up with?

some washers and a few bolts, but we identified them when laying out all the parts....prefab stuff from China.....guess the workers couldn't count when getting hardward ready for the vacuum sealed platic bag machine

Work car? They let you pick? I thought you'd be driving a charger or highlander. That seems to be the med ped car around here. Looks nice. MPG?

It was either pay $200 a month for a focus that only I can drive or buy what I want and get partial reimbursement.

Higher the MPG, the more I make.

I should cover 75% of my expenses. Maybe more.

Either way, I'd rather drive what I want and pay a bit.

Got 41 mpg going 78 home from Dallas. 2011 certified used with 18 k

Cool pic. Didn't there use to be a Cottonland Cruiser Christmas Tree thread? I tried to dig it up but my search foo must not be working.

Well I have before and after pics of my long weekend project...

I needed to clean up my office as things had really piled up since I started my job in October 2011. The garage has also become completely unmanageable. Don't even get me started on the storage room. My parents gave me a piece of furniture for my office about four years ago. It needed work that I was not willing to do at the time, so I put it right in front of the 40 with a narrow aisle to the storage room. Soon said furniture became another place to pile crap on and in since it has many little boxes. So the office got cleaned and the existing furniture removed. Then the stuff piled up on the "new" furniture was removed and 3/4 of a large bottle of Murphys Oil Soap was applied with massive amounts of elbow grease. My arms and shoulders are sore. The piece is an oldschool hotel mailbox. The items displayed are vintage fishing tackle that I have been collecting since college. It's mostly an old US made brand called Pflueger (flew-ger) that was purchased by Shakespeare back in the early '60s. This was my pre-Cruiser hobby that I never had a good way to display. I am pretty happy with the results and its great to see the floor in my office.

Thanks guys.

Nolen, I really like your new "work truck". 40+ MPG is awesome. Oh, and congrats on the new JOB! What's your territory? I cover all of MS except the Coast and all of LA west and north of the Atchafalaya. Yes I have Lafayette and Lake Charles!

beautiful Lash.
