Hold the phone. We will have a meeting next week in Cali and iron out the date. We have been so busy with family and cruisers that we haven't put much thought into it.
Major party foul!
I'd volunteer my place but I would be scared y'all would arrive 3 days prior and never leave.

Your house? I sure hope not!
Chimney fires can burn at over 3000 degrees and cause considerable damage. (Obviously) even if contained to the flue they will warp and ruin metal chimneys and will turn the mortar to sand in clay tile or brick chimneys. Rule of thumb, clean your chimney once per year if you have an open fireplace and once every two months for wood stoves or fireplace inserts(controlled combustion wood heating appliances). These standards are for dry, seasoned firewood. Clean more ofter if you burn wet wood or woods high in pitch like pine or cedar.
I have the rods and an assortment of brushes if anybody wants to borrow them. I just did mine last Saturday so I am good for a while.
