My new to me 60 has two keys. One opens the front doors and the other is for the ignition. I presume the ignition cylinder was replaced previously as I found broken glass under the carpet. If I find the code in the passenger door, how do I get a new ignition cylinder and recode it the same as the doors? The ignition is very stiff, it feels like the key will break it's so stiff. I just want a whole new ignition cylinder plus some new keys coded to original. Also my lift gate lock is completely seized, it wont even budge.
hi matt here
My new to me 60 has two keys. One opens the front doors and the other is for the ignition. I presume the ignition cylinder was replaced previously as I found broken glass under the carpet.
If I find the code in the passenger door, how do I get a new ignition cylinder and recode it the same as the doors?
you hire me to RE-Key & Re-Code a NEW OEM Toyota NOS Ignition Lock Cylinder assy , i have about 7 of them left ,
The ignition is very stiff, it feels like the key will break it's so stiff. I just want a whole new ignition cylinder plus some new keys coded to original. That's All Not a problem , and i have the OEM NOS Toyota parts as well to complete the job and help u out Properly
Also my lift gate lock is completely seized, it wont even budge. The Rear Push Button Lock , is whole different animal , u must take it out completely and send me photos , most likley your snap ring grooves retainers have rusted and its Blown apart , in that case i need some of the old parts to make the new one work properly ,
if something else case by case basis
here is your NOS ignition Lock cylinder waiting to be re-keyed , also the 3 style key blanks i offer for your extra keys u mentioned
shoot me a PM to get on the schedule , and coordinate
thanks matt
