I know I mentioned this to a few of you. A year or so ago I purchased a Caswell Copy Cad plating kit. I have been playing with it with various levels of success. Well I finally started getting the results I expected. Of course, I thought these steering gear box brackets were the same as the power steering ones. :doh:
They're not. Anyway I think they look good. Did some nuts and bolts and the clips on the air cleaner housing.

At some point I'll be ready to do this for club members. It's pretty time consuming and as with most things the key is in the prep.

Well its mostly your fault!! I still have a couple bags of zinc and cad plated brackets, nuts, bolts and other misc stuff you gave me a couple years ago. I couldn't find anyone around here that would do it so I had to do it myself. :p

Hey, why don't you give a presentation at the next meeting about this process and how it works. it would be interesting.
 
Sure it is a relatively simple process.
