I was told about a trail system in the Chattanooga area called Coppinger's Cove and I have got conflicting reports weather or not it is still opened. I have some friends that were planing to go on sunday but dont know if it is infact still opened. If you have been there or know of it's status please let me know.

Thanks

Its not in Chattanooga its near South Pittsburgh, TN. From the rumors that I have heard its closed unless you know the "Damn Locals" that ride there, Damn Locals is the name of the local club in that area. The way I heard the story, a good chunk of the land is owned by a developer and someone burned down a bulldozer that was on the property. The developer supposedly will have anyone caught on the land without permission arrested.
The sad part is the trails there are really great for all levels of rider. The scenery is really nice and this was one of my wifes favorite areas to ride when we first got to Huntsville.

Damn Locals contact one of the club members

That's the same story I've heard. I've met a few of the Damn Locals, and they're good folks. I think they're hosting the 3Q SFWDA meeting again in Tracy City on Mount Eagle. There will be trail rides after the meeting.

BTW, they're the ones with access to all the Mount Eagle trails too.
