Does anyone know if the fuel damper has copper gaskets that go between it and fuel rail? It seems as though I have miss placed them.(If there were any) I also seem to be missing new copper gaskets from the cold start assembly as well. Have any of you all had luck finding these at napa or any other auto parts store? I havnt called the dealer yet but so far every time I have called them for a part its a couple day wait for them to get it in. Below is a picture of the fuel damper.
Thanks,
Paul

I used to buy copper crush washers from Only Imports on Morse, back when Bernie had it. No idea about the new guy, or even if still in business.
Might try the old L. N. Dietrich now Carquest on Thompson near San Jon. They have stocked similarly unusual stuff that I needed in the past.

If you had or find the old ones they are easily annealed for re-use. Heat with a propane torch until they change color and immediately drop in water. What makes steel brittle makes copper soft.

Why not get them from Toyota? I seem to remember at least a star washer.

washers

The washer that gos betwean the fuel rail and the fuel regulater is a star type crush washer. It's not like a lock washer. The one on top is a round cooper washer. I just went to toyota last week to buy these when installing my new engine. This is what they show in the parts drawings.

Have a good one.

thanks, I ended up finding one in a random plastic bag on my work bench
