Sorry I found it, now I may just go and meet with you guys in Navojoa.

I am going to research some hotels that are clean and inexpensive in Navojoa!

I am going to research some hotels that are clean and inexpensive in Navojoa!

A guy from the 4x4 club in Navojoa owns two of the nicest hotels in town, i think well pay something like 35 bucks per room.

You can also sleep in my recently cleaned toyota for 3 bucks (Price does not include a nice mexican señorita) :-)

We may be able to attend this event, I will let you know next week!;)

Effuentes, when you cross that chinipas river, even though you may have crossed it before the year before, how do you know whether or not:

1. the river will become to deep for you and disable your engine
2. there are holes in the river bed that hang you up
3. there are obstacles like boulders in the river bed that obstruct you

seems like any of the above surprises would cause you to get stuck and make it very difficult to get going again. Is it nerve wracking going across the river?

do you wade across first to check it out?

was there much of a current out in the middle?

We usually hire a guide from Chinipas (5 bucks) to cross the river, and he will tell us the way, works every time !!

He even tell us if its wise to cross or not, its tricky but doable.

I also dump a can of WD40 on the electricals and go for it.

Saludos

Any new news, lot's of rain in the area, have you done any research on wether to cross the Chinipas river which I think it could get difficult, other then that I think everything else should be fun !;)

Oh! could you PM me some names of hotels in Nabojoa to finf their locations, I am unsure if I will make it since my wife just had a small accident and her face is all bruised up!

But looking forward to making this trip!
