Anybody running these? Discount Tires Cooper Tires DISCOVERER ATR LT285/75R16 OWL 122R
I am leaning on putting these on my 97 FJZ. I have used Coopers on all my cars for the last 10 years. IMHO they are a great deal for the money. I have a local mom and pop shop near me that is a pleasure to deal with. I trail ride here in MI and expect to do CO next summer.

[STRIKE]Heard good things about them. I'm running a rebranded set, slightly different belt design. As long as they balance, great tire.[/STRIKE]
I didn't bother reading the whole post carefully, see post #4.

I take my earlier endorsement back- I have rebranded STT's. Have heard good things about Cooper tires in general, though.

I have over 50k miles on my STTs and they're still in decent shape. I've got a lot of road miles, but include trips to Silverton Co, Farmington NM, an Arizona tour, and most recently Moab.

The next set will probably be STTs too , but 35s instead of 33s. The only reason I wouldn't get them is if they keep going up in price and Toyos are cheaper.

Sent from my DROIDX using IH8MUD

My 60 had Cooper Discoverers on it. Pretty sure they were ST.

Did great in the snow. Ran lots of trails with sharp basalt rock and they held up well.

No complaints.

price the kelly safaris while your at it might be cheaper

I pulled the trigger on some Cooper Discoverer AT3's today. This is the replacement to the ATR's.
