Hello all,
I need some assistance on identifying a leak on my 79 FJ40. I noticed what appears to be a coolant or coolant/oil leak coming from what appears to be the bottom of the exhaust manifold. Kind of a strange place to see that there, my concern is that I had some head work completed (hairline cracks repaired) earlier this year and I am worried there are more cracks in that area somewhere. Is there a water jacket that runs in that area that could cause this issue? I haven't noticed any excessive oil or coolant loss as of yet but I wanted to get some advice if possible. Here are the photos, this was after I wiped of the residue but you can still see in the staining where the leak was on the manifold.
Thanks guys,

Is the coolant level going down in the radiator/reservoir?

The heater outlet and coolant temp sender are located in the head just above that area, so they might be seeping & running down there.
