was toying around with wrapping my steering wheel and happened on this blog from google images of all places, wonder if this guy is on mud? I'm gonna leave this here to fill the heads of those who don't have anything else to do to their cruisers

Leather Wrapped Everything

very nice looking leather work on that website. Probably costs as good as it looks.

Thanks for finding and posting this. I have thinking about doing something similar.
Replacing the parking brake boot as well as making some leather boots for the shifters, grab handle and maybe even a dash cover.
Too many projects at the moment though.

I have an old pair of Red Wing boots where I had broken the heel cup on one. I was about to toss them, and realized the tops were perfectly good leather, with virtually no wear. I came up with using part of one top to cover the horizontal part of the shifter. I want to find some dye to try to match the gray of my new leather seats, or the dark gray of the interior.

When I was younger, I helped 'cut' calves one summer(castrating the males). I grabbed one of the sacks when we were done, washed it really well and stretched it over my 4WD knob, with the hair still on it. As it dried, it tightened up over the knob. It was a great conversation starter with my dates...
