lockers needed

Of course you would need some variety of locking differential if the opposing wheel could spin.
 
It looked as though there were 2 used, one on each side. This would solve the need for lockers.
 
I was wondering about the camels also. Were they just for illustration of the desert, or did they tie off to them? If there's nothing else out there and no 2nd vehicle (bad idea for desert travel) then I guess it would be an option but will a camel do that??

Nice way to ruin a set of rims. They have the money just to throw a new set on when they get back to the mansion.

I would doubt the camels aided in the extraction. But I'm no camel expert.
 
It seemed to me like the strap was staked in the ground.
 
the rope on the wheel idea has been around since what? 1910 or so?

Dont the unimogs have them on there and they look wasy better then that. looks like they just welded some re-bar together through some chain around the rim and called it good.
