During airing up, discovered a less then ideal situation with my front passenger tire. The rocks decided to shave a little off the side. The tire was holding air, but the material removed was a fairly thick (I have C ply). But I wanted to shoot out to Super 8 in Cook City being kind enough to let me do a tire change on a nice flat surface.

I also wanted to say thanks @45Kevin for joining us on this trip. You would great to hang out with both on and off the trail. Safe travels and enjoy the rest of your trip!!

Wow looks like a great ride, good stuff

I know I am in the minority here, but sidewall damage is the main reason I don't air down too often.

I've experienced no added benefit when wheeling over most of the rocky trails I've done......Just speaking generally here as I totally understand how in some situations / more extreme trails that letting some air out can help over get you through but IDK

i let the air out because it makes the ride smoother. easier on my back. the ride on 37s at 40 PSI vs 15 PSI is night and day different. extra traction is just a plus

^This is my reasoning too. I generally don't go lower than 20psi unless it is really slippery or I'm in snow. So far I haven't had any sidewall issues but I also run 10-ply tires.

Just had a chance to go through some photos. I didn't take a lot this time, but my brother got some good ones.

Started a Google drive album for everyone to upload. Please send me your emails if I dont have it already. And please create a new folder for your photos so we can know who to give credit! Feel free to download and share any of my photos just be sure to tag me or give me credit

Just uploaded all on my photos onto the Google drive I created. There’s a folder for the raw jpegs. I will be working on a preset and cropping the good ones once I have a chance. If anyone sees one they want me to play with just speak up. I’m going to try and fix them a bit since it was kinda cloudy and rainy most of the day. And over saturate the photos to make the wildflowers really pop ;)

I know I’m just a spectator. Wow those pictures are fantastic. Simply beautiful country.
Exactly what I thought.
Looks like pictures for a Toyota magazine shoot.
A bucket list trip no doubt.

Fueled up on my way back from the club meet this evening: round trip Bozeman to Goose Lake, over Beartooth Pass and back to Bozeman was 413 miles, 18.831 gallons, 21.9 mpg. Pretty happy with that.

I got home Monday evening after a marathon drive. I spent Sunday night near Big Timber after doing the Beartooth Pass. Spectacular drive to say the least.
Thanks so much to the 406 crew for welcoming me into their group, and thanks to Aaron for organizing and leading a great weekend of trail rides.

Dang @ttFJC exceptional dedication to the club documentation here, thank you! @MTsoul we gotta start giving out club awards at the BBQ like, "biggest fan boy of his own club"
