Hi Guys, this has probably been asked and discussed before and if thats the case I apologize because I couldnt find the related thread. My question is for the tech experts and mechanically inclined:wrench: in here, how difficult is it to convert from leaf to coil springs, is it worth it, are there any kits in the market and what are the cons and pros of doing this. Im thinking only the front. I have a 98' FZJ73 ....is it possible to install the whole thing from any of the new 70 series models? None of the new 70 series come with spring coils in the back right?

Regards to all and a happy new year!!

This fellow converted the rear to springs, might get in touch with him and see if he has done any fronts also, sorry I have not seen a coiled front end here yet so am not sure what would be involved in changing it over.,.

and possibly for the front, looks like a donor front end would be the easiest

The J79's came with coil front ends....you could look for one of those if you are so lucky to have them in your country! Probably wouldn't be that hard to swap in.
