Gees it seems this must be a well traveled path, but I did a few searches & couldn't get an answer.
I'd like to convert the 5 lug on my 1956 M100 to 6 x 5.5 so spares can interchange with the 80 series. I've done a SO, so Im not real concerned with maintaining the ebrake. I've seen threads where folks just order a new #3,500 dexter axle to the spec they want, and I may throw up my hands and just do that. but I would like to at least try to work with what I have.
I assume the axle on my M100 is the stock axle, but after 60 years, who knows?
The outer bearing is a Timken, and hard to read but I think the P/N is 18590.
Is there a vender that can help me work this through?
