Do you have plans? I'm going to use a stock Behm plan and have it modified some. Probably going for a three car or two car/shop sized with a loft storage area.

No I don't really have any plans per say. But what I want to do is build a little more than 3 car wide and a car and a half deep configured with one single bay and one dual bay doors with 12 foot ceilings. you two need to sing up for Angie's list. $8/year. and you get lots of reviews that you can call and get bids from. I did this for my shop, although in the end, I went with a mueller's contractor.
I know a guy does does slabs and he probably knows plenty of construction guys. I can try to find his number for you

If you want just a slab, the guy that did my shop was awesome. He is very good and was not pricey compared to the rest. He was the only one to come out with a laser that accurately calculated the cubic feet needed to make a proper bid. The others just eyeballed it. The day the concrete was delivered, he showed me the bill that he paid. He didn't have to, but was honest/transparent. email me if you want his info.

But Angies list will let you find a general contractor and they choose who you use. It all depends on how you plan on paying for it. If it's a lender, they will probably want a GC, and not let you pick and choose the subs.
