Drove my first BMW on my birthday 2 weeks ago. What a blast.
Drove a 335ix Coupe and a 535ix Sedan. Both had a lot of miles and were showing their age.
Later that day found this fully loaded 335i Sedan with the performance package. Not the M, but almost. Fell in love immediately.
Its the new N55 engine, so I am hopeful that I'll avoid some of the issues the 54 has had.
The highway and streets around the house have been fun. Looking forward to getting into the hills once the rain stops!
Just pulled off the Blizark RFT winters that came with her for a set of summer (go flat) shoes and it's amazing the difference in the ride.
Really enjoying myself with the BMW. But When I jump back into the cruiser I know I made the right decision to keep her as well.

Good combo. Back in 2008 I had a new CLS63 AMG with the performance package and a 2004 LX470. Both great vehicles and the AMG was a beast. Enjoy, I think you made the right choice JMHO ;)

I think you made the right choice on the 335i. We love ours. I was on the fence between a 550i and a 335i. For our needs the 335i won easily in almost all categories we were evaluating. Glad I didn't end up with the 5 series.

SWUtah - those *63 MBs are super nice. I actually test drove a couple C63's before pulling the trigger on the 335i. If we weren't after a daily driver then I'd have ended up with the C63. No words can describe the emotion behind that huge n/a V8. It's glorious. I have yet to take the new variant out (twin turbo AMG motors). After the C63 test drive the wife looks at me and says 'This is the most impractical car in the world!' lol. That's why it was so awesome and alluring.

When you feel like the newness has worn off check out the Dinan package you can apply to your 335i. My dad has his set up with stage 3 and its a rocket. A very fast little car with 4 doors. Congrats

I needed a brake job at 8k miles cost $2k+ and I am easy on brakes. I've owned several MB vehicles and the cost to maintain is crazy, don't ever own a MB that is not under warranty ;)
