I did attempt on a van long time ago.

This is different. typical rust on the wheel well of the cruiser. I will be taking some picture.

I personally do not mind doing the work as long as it is outside of my work.

Since summer is coming up, I can probably work a little bit at a time, then drive it then a little more work and drive it.

I will show some pictures and you tell me what tools I need to buy to straiten out some damage.

Thanks

I'm trying to do the same thing!! I just pulled out the hammer tonight....it's not going to be pretty but isnt that what Bondo is for? :)

I'm hoping that I don't have to lose too much sleep over the majority of my dents since they are in the area that I am planning on painting with bedliner....hoping that will hide my horrible body work.

not too much rust for me...one bad spot that I was going to cut out and cover with a fender flare :)

good luck!

here's a few pics of where I'm at!! the sanding/priming/bondo thing is a great way for me to feel productive while waiting for the funds to do other projects!

Oh...and I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing!! just reading the forums and learning as I go! :)

ohh that looks better then mine.

The bj60 is a good reliable tough truck. I used it to bring my tools to job sites and perform mechanical repairs. but the wheel well arches are rusting though.
