Hey guys

If you were to get you Land Cruiser painted, would you go to a place that specialized in Land Cruisers?

Anybody here heard of

Concord Auto Body & Paint

FJ40 Restoration

I wouldn't mind making a road trip to California if it was worth it.

Painting a car is painting a car. Unless you have serious rust issues, or want a restoration done just find someone that does good paint work.

I live 10 minutes away from this shop. Had them do $3k of work on the Wifely Honda that other shops wanted $4k for. Price, quality and timeline were all excellent. At the time, did not know of the Cruiser aspect of the shop, but I would recommend them. They do a lot of work for highline dealers in our 'hood and I have seen high quality work from them. Nothing like the owner of a black AMG Mercedes to test the customer service aspect of a body/paint shop.

That said, there is a shop in Portland, OR (600 miles closer to the Border) with a great rep for Cruiser paint and body work. California is an expensive place to do business and when budget allows I will get a price from Concord and the Portland shop before pulling the trigger.
