Concensus on roof rack obliteration ?

It would be a lower profile than leaving the skinny pcs on .

Don't know his h8mud name but he joined us this last weekend at Gorman (Brian) and had his roof lined.....it looked great, served a purpose, and couldn't have cost too much.

I'm still waiting for her tits to pop out of that shirt

Matt was there and he did have a roof rack...you could find out his nick probably by searching the trails and events thread on "Gorman Dec. 5th" post them if you get them.

I'm in Tyler's situation with my 450, except that I HAD to stop after lifting the first rack footing and finding corrosion, as the other three footing's screws are rusted solid. My plan is to get the rack off (how I don't know), including the center strips, then plug and rhinoline a stencil around each hole. Then if that looks ridiculous, rhinoline the roof.

Well I too got curious one evening and went out and started unscrewing the roof rack. 7 of the 8 came out just fine...with minimal effort...then there was #8. I was just starting to crank on it good and *POP*, the entire roof rack comes loose and I look...the nutsert popped up through the roof sheet metal.

So for a quick fix I grabbed some nylon plugs with a dab of sealer on them into the holes. I am still trying to figure out what to do with them long term. I also noticed bare metal in spots from the edges of those damn roof rack feet. HMMMMMM
