Computer not ready?

I can't pass inspection because every time I go to the inspection station and they hook up my truck to their obd scanner it says my computer is not ready.
What could be the cause?i have driven it a couple hundred miles between each inspection. I am now 0 for three. How can I get the computer to reset or be ready?

You have a scangauge? If so it will tell you when it's ready or how many systems are left to go. Just make sure you don't clear them or everything resets
