Lane: Not too bad for not playing to a click though! Turns out having a computerized BEEP in your ear is tricky to play with!

Nat: I'll give you a CD when it's mixed and mastered, these are just rough mixes :)

So you have to do a track without hearing the rest of the band?
Must be hard.
Did you happen to see the show on PBS this week about music and the mind? Pretty interesting stuff.

Very Sabbathy, COC...I like.

We had headphones in the studio and tracked all the basics live at once, so I could hear the guitars and bass along with me. Once we got them down we tore the drums town and overdubbed solos and vocals. Pretty smooth process actually!

I keep missing that show on PBS, I'd love to see it though.

Thanks for the comments, I'm pumped to play our first show next friday!

How long have you been working together?

Been rocking out for about 6 months now, things are really coming along well.

The show is at O'Briens Pub in Allston, at the corner of Harvard ave and Cambridge. It's a great lineup and it'll probably sell out quick (it's a small place). It'd be good to see some people there!

How did it go?
