I thought you determined you couldnt fit behind the wheel of a pig :P

Jason I would of bought your old pig if someone had hooked up the seats right! A damn midget couldn't fit in that thing!

It's Moonshine, fat balls :smokin:

I've taken the next step, Mike. If only my other parts would ship here faster.

14 bolt rear axle .... Serious beef

Bingo, and H1 double-beadlock wheels in the back.

Johnny you still have that hi steer set up?

I do, but it's going to be a while before it comes out of the truck. Change in plans means that I won't be taking the front end apart for good until I get a D60 to put up front.

I thought we were looking at that trailer hitch. So now we need to squeeze 42 inch tires on that beast. U might have a chance haha.

Holy jesus. I want that 55...

Certainly a unique vehicle. The axles, wheels and tires are worth more than the current bid.

Few of your trail buddies are going to have compatible spare parts.

Johnny, have you put Moonshine on a scale recently?

I have not, but I should. She's probably in the 6k# range now.

See that is the thing I really like about the 60s and 80s They weigh a ton, but they can still climb over and through just about anything if built right, and carry all your crap with you to boot.

Personally I see a 60 and 80 as a perfect support vehicle to a buggy or truggy. Capable of carrying all the tools and parts required and get there on class 4 trails. They can be upholstered for $1,200 to $1,800 depending on how deep in you go and you'd have a brand new interior.

Heather is pretty sure that she wants the 80 we bought as her next vehicle, and if we can swing it prior to that, her second vehicle. We have figured a budget of $20K to build it out. I would much rather have a "new" 80 series than anything brand new available on the market now. Trail capable and also a safe and dependable DD for Heather.

Nah being all military surplus I would say around $2500-$3000 would be the average price for all those.

Now the custom suspension and fab work on the other hand................

I completely agree Stan, that's why I love the wagon platform so much.
