Just thought I would see who all was down in the Sierra Vista area. I will be based out of there for this years fire season with a new Hotshot crew. bringing one of my 80's ready to wheel / mountain Bike and hike.

Always looking forward to spending time with fellow cruiser heads.

Beautiful country down near SV! I have only biked on Fort Huachuca property, but there is a strong biking community based out of Sun n Spokes bike shop. The AZ trail (biking) segments near Ripsey and Kentucky Camp are awesome from what I hear. Lots of places to check out and explore.

Have been here for a few days now and post has a lot of things to do right beside it.

Unfortunately I have only seen one 80 series and one 100 series. But a ton of Jeeps.

Still trying to get used to being at about 4800 feet elevation versus 224 feet where I live.

Hopefully get to meet some of you while I am out here, but with this job you never know where you will be sleeping come the end of the day.

You might want to check out the April run of the month. Its pretty tame but makes for a nice scenic example of our state. Not too far to meet if you come straight up highway 79. Good opportunity to meet some of the az local cruiserheads.

Congrats on you NC boys going to the big dance -

I for one, hope all you guys have a lot of free time on your hands this season.;)
And if I read your sig line correctly, you deserve an appreciative handshake for doing a job that wears out most 20 year olds.

Feel free to shoot me a pm if you get up to the Oracle area.

Just got back in town yesterday, been gone for 3 weeks. Can show you around a bit if you like. Shoot me a PM.
Cheers, Jim

What a season it has been so far.

Just got back today from the Cedar Fire. Show Low is beautiful country.

Have been to Aravaipa Canyon, Safford, and mostly on the border around Nogales . Been in Texas, NM, and probably this week California, or hopefully up north.

Taking a few days off this week and hope to do some wheeling.

BTW, almost 500 hours of Overtime in the last 2 months alone. Not including regular time. Right now we are second in hours for all crews. Mesa IHC is in the lead by about 10 hours over us.

I have a 40 up here in Prescott and we have some nice Mtn biking up here as well-be happy to show you the trails at a Mile high! Welcome to AZ!

Read somewhere that Globe has some good wheeling. Anyone know anything about it ? I am only a few hours from there. And I need to find some good wheeling spots for about 5 days worth when I get done this season to hit before I leave this state.

Thank you for working the Cedar fire! That fire was in our back yard, we live in Show Low. We appreciate all you guys. My hubby and his family were hotshots and his Lil brother is currently working for Payson Hotshots. Thanks for all the hard work here and everywhere else in our great country! I hope you get to enjoy some of AZ! We love it here. God Bless and stay safe!

I run into Payson guys all the time. They are an awesome crew. Please thank your husband for setting us new guys up for success back then. No need to thank me. I love this job and I am on a great crew. I am going to visit your town again soon. It was an awesome little town the bits I seen of it.

Next time you run into the Payson hotshots, my brother-in-law's name is Thomas Kelley is a crew leader for Payson HS. I know there is a good four wheel Trail in Payson if you're ever up that way I just can't remember the name. I will ask @wtmtnterror

Was just with Payson again on the Bull Fire.

Am up in Flagstaff for a few days and I am seeing Cruisers everywhere. And coffee shops galore. Wow.

If you see someone waving wildly from a Shot Buggy drivers seat it is just me.

Welcome to Flag! Seems like fire season is back up on us with the wind and dry conditions. I hope your stay is boring in that regard. I will keep an eye out for you... and yes there are many Cruisers in town :).
