Looks like Crescent Lake, OR which we pass through fairly early might have fuel. Then there is LaPine which is close to Wikiup reservoir. Not sure of the milage right now between fueling, but try to plan for 300 miles before fueling. If we run into problems there are a couple of backup plans

I'm not sure of your exact route but the little towns in Eastern Oregon shut down pretty early.. I always packed 5 gals on the paved roads. Have fun and stay cool!

I don't know how long it will take to get there, but once at end of this section you should be around Hoodoo Ski Resort. If you bee-line back through Sisters to Bend and head south on 97 you will be about 4hours from White City.

When I had planned on going that was my plan as I like clear lake and its a nice camp ground. But 1) further drive if you head out towards Eugene and take I5 home. 2) I had planned on taking Monday off and lolly gaggin home.

I know Brian and myself plan on staying at clear lake Sunday night for a lazy drive back Monday., and sounds like Knoll is heading back Sunday(not confirmed). I also want to check out the Quack attack trail at hoodoo at some point.
