Colorado Land Cruisers Monthly meeting 11/19/24

Please join the members at the November club meeting held at Rudy's BBQ November 19th 2024. 315 S 31st St, Colorado Springs, CO 80904. Meeting starts at 7pm and is over when everyone leaves. Main subject will be winter preparation, tools, items to have, selection and installation of tire chains.

Look for us in the NorthWest corner of the dining room.

The main discussion point during the meeting was the subject of the patrols that we participate in during the Christmas Tree Cutting event in the Pike National forest.

It was decided that the club will continue the patrols no matter how much involvement that the Forest Service provides.

We also restated the plans for the Christmas party. The club has decided to fund Jeremy to buy the meat and other members will provide pot luck items. See the separate thread to sign up and let us know what you will bring.

We also had a discussion on what you should provide in your vehicle as a winter preparedness kit.

Unofficially we talked about dump valves, blue traction boards, and driving across the country in your Land Cruiser, with it loaded with beer. It was 1975.....
