Making the hard decision to post my 1987 FJ60 with 5.3l Vortec and NV4500 5-speed. $29,500
- Owned since 2014, originally from TX, body is rust free.
- LQ4 5.3l Vortec from a 2002 Silverado. Engine had 75k verified miles, now has 95k miles. Runs fantastic, no leaks.
- Chevy NV4500 with Valley Hybrid twin sticks. Tranny has the ultra low first gear. Tranny and original T-case were rebuilt prior to install.
- Dual batteries.
- Rebuilt steering box from West Texas 4x4.
- Rebuilt front axle with new Koyo seals and bearings. New TRE's and brakes.
- 33/10.5 BFG's with under 5k miles, matching new spare.
- Interior is almost mint. Insulated floor, new carpet, added FJ62 rear shoulder belts, custom rear cargo panels, and tailgate storage. Door cards are perfect.
- New windshield with upgraded T4R wiper arms.
- Great sound system with upgraded speakers in front factory locations and under seat sub.
- ARB front bumper, BIOR sliders, Custom rear bumper (ladder option is very handy), Gamiviti rack.
- OME heavy lift.
- Updated OEM headlights and wiring harness.
- All receipts included (3" folder).
- Passenger rear quarter panel needs improved body work. Previous owner bumped the quarter and the repair is not great.
- A/C is not currently working. I never got around to finishing the install since I don't really need it where I live. Comes with all the parts to finish it.
- I wouldn't hesitate to drive this rig across the country.
- Lots of pictures available.
$29,500 full price offer includes a new ARB air locker. Serious inquires only please. I'm only selling because I own four other Toyota's in various states of restoration and need to thin the herd by one. Located in Monument, between Colorado Springs and Denver. Thanks. Doug
