I just had a local uphosterer redye mine Turned out perfect
I’ dyed mine... using SEM dyes. Didn’t save the freaking can to get the color! The lighter color is ivory, because i’ Have a can of that one left when we dyed the front seats and center armrests.
17243 Taupe is the SEM color.
Is the 17243 Taupe the light tan color or the dark grey/brownish color on the dash, steering wheel, and door panel that meets the glass on upper door?

Hey guys I used SEM 15723 Monterey Color Coat for my door trim and it made it look brand new.

Just to clarify, 15713 is the darker color (where you elbow rests), and 15723 is the lighter color? Thanks!
no sorry its 15723 for the darker colors like the steering wheel and trim right under the windows

Yup, that's it. SEM 15723 looks like the ticket, thanks.
Before applying, did you use any SEM prep agent like their "Plastic Adhesion Promoter" or "XXX Adhesion Promoter"?
no i didn't use the prep agent i just cleaned real well with denatured alcohol I had zero problems with adhesion the stuff is great
17243 is too light for a '04 LX FYI.
Will respray with the 15723 and advise.

Interesting. Might keep this on my radar for future TLC.
Any experience on long term resistance/ stability? I would imagine on the flexible surfaces it might start peeling/ flaking off, ongoing wear scratches it off, ...?!? Or all good after 2-3 years?
