Wow, how cool is this? I have a red '72 and it looks like.....well it looks nothing like this.

I might suggest the 255/85/16's as they are 33" and fit with very little lift.

Do you think the family will be able to adjust to LHD?

Colin still can't reach the pedals (8 yrs old). Had to put in a brake booster and master cylinder this Winter. Also a new radiator last week. These wheels and tires were laying around after selling my 4runner, so just put them on for the heck of it. They are a 34x11.50-18 with no lift. Put about a 100 miles on it and it rode and ran great. Ready for an easy trail.

I have paid for OEM bows and a Paki-top. Just waiting for Tedd to paint the bows Freeborn Red.

X 2! A lot of thoughts are better off left unsaid. I could go on a serious rant right now but choose not to infest this site with unrelated cruiser comments. Think before you tpye.

By the way Colin... you have a SICK cruiser! Makin people 5 times your age drool! You have permission to date my daughter...... when she's 30!!!!!! :)

Think before you tpye.
There is a realization that some members post well into their twelve pack as evidenced by the deleted posts which show up the next day. No worries.

The bows and top came about by maintaining relationships and open lines of communication. Once I mentioned to one member that I was thinking of going that route, another member contacted me and said he knew where I could find the whole shebang. Made the deal six months ago.

No beer when I posted and won't be deleting it. It was however a gut reaction. I couldn't afford to buy my 8 YO son a 40 or even one now when he's 19. Hell, there might not be anything left when I'm gone for him to pick through.

Sorry for the post and hope that Colin appreciates what you are doing for him when he is older and gets to drive it. I'm sure he will once the girls notice him in it.

Rereading this thread. The pic with the white wagon wheels is so cool. What a find. We're gonna need a pic with the bows and split rims!!! Congrats to a great family. And Colin- tell your Dad low range and blocks are all ya need to make laps around the neighborhood!

COOL!
