Here's an image of the finished product. This is hanging up on the lift, but again, sitting flat it's the same level as airbags on Normal height.
 
Imagine putting LT rear coils in then! It’s a pain for sure and a necessity to pull the swaybar and disconnect the RLLs in order to get them in. A bottle jack used in conjunction with a floor jack makes the work a bit easier as well.

I can imagine! I suppose it wouldn't have been too hard to pull the sway bar if needed, but we were able to get it figured out without it. I found a thread that mentioned that the FJ springs might not be beefy enough for the GX and would suck under load, but i've got a far amount of travel before I hit the bump stops (on the frame, not in the spring) so I guess worse case I could add airbags in the future if needed but so far so good. I mean, if FJ springs weren't good enough, MetalTech wouldn't be selling them in conjunction with their kit for conversion....

Weight distribution between the GX and FJ is negligible IMO. Only noticeable difference in the rear is added fuel capacity and the V8 vs V6 motor in the front. FJ Springs were rated heavier than most of the 4th gens. Lots of folks will buy stock FJ Springs for a cheap way of lifting a 4Runner. I’m running my complete FJ setup on the GX with no noticeable difference.
