Coil Spacers and Bumpstops

http://www.autoanything.com/suspension-systems/61A2933A0A0.aspx?key_code=YS1750

Those are for a Toyota Sequoia. Anyone know if they will fit a LC? And, does anyone know of any made for the LC? I know this will shorten your travel and such but id still like to know about them.

Also, about those slee bumpstops, could I get a good explination of what they do? I hear spacer, but need confirmation.

I've got 30mm spacers in the rear of mine. Doesn't affect wheel travel a great deal.

I just picked-up two coil spacers a Pep-Boys for $6.99 each. They are probably not of the quality as the Dynastars but, look to be as good as the Mr. Gaskets I have seen.

I have a set of steel ring spacers that I used to use and never noticed any problems with them. Those things look like Poly spacers and will probably be better than rubber which compresses, for which reason I prefer metal.

The bumpstops are supposed to be of a length that will prevent your shocks from bottoming out, thereby preventing damage to expensive shocks. Otherwise, they're just negligible weight.

Do you happen to have the part number?

I love you. I will be ordering 4 of those within the next 2 weeks or so.

Sweet jesus, my four wheel parts here charges 210 to put those on. Do you guys think its possible for me to put those on myself?

They are easy to install, but. Your not planning on putting those on a stock spring rig are you? A stock LX is way under sprung and shocked, adding spacers, raising the center of gravity would make it go down the road like a drunk sailor!

I put a pair of those on the rear, and it took about 5 minutes a side. The hardest part is taking off the wheel, and you don't even have to do that if you have access to a lift.

For now I do yes haha. But I do understand what you are saying and changing out the suspension on my rig will be coming up soon enough.

You may want to read these instructions for doing a lift. To install the spacers, you'd do about 2/3 of this, but you'd only need to unbolt the shock bottoms, not the tops, and you'd just push the tops of the springs down enough to get the spacers in, instead of removing and replacing.

Read this a few times and you're probably good to go.
