Hi, taken my 01 Anniversary Amazon to a non franchised mechanic that specialises in gearbox repairs, (un) fortunately they dont do many toyotas because to reliable.
the car has gone into slow mode a couple of times but resets itself when you turn it off and on again (is that the way all electrical computer type problems are solved these days) The two fault codes come out as Throttle position sensor and Temperature of oil in gearbox, any ideas as to fix these would be much appreciated. he is going to check the temp probe in g/box and fill with new fluids and this should solve one but any ideas or comments on either...
