After completing a head gasket replacement on one of my 2 93 LC's, the engine would not start. I chased a lack of fuel all the way back to the fuel pump. Removal of the full assembly (pump, float, etc.) found a real mess. Heavy corrosion on all connections, hard lines, float bar....everything. Clearly I'll need to drain the tank, clean it thoroughly, and treat it internally as required. I will also be looking for a reason for water intrusion which I believe is the root of this problem. In the mean time, I removed the assembly from my other 93 which turned out to be in pristine condition and swapped it into the troubled LC. That succeeded in getting #1 running but I am now in search of a replacement assembly for LC #2. Thanks in advance for help in finding one and I'm open to input on water intrusion ideas as well.

I have a few in Idaho. I also have complete fuel tanks that are good. There is a pretty good chance I might be going to Moab next weekend (8/1-3/25) to pick up a car. I could probably bring one with me if you were available to meet up. I have shipped tanks in the past. It is pretty expensive due to the size. And I don't have any ready for shipment (they have to be purged and neutralized of the fuel smell). Shipping a pump assembly isn't that big of a deal.
