Clutch Noise!!!!

I pulled the clutch master and adjusted the push rod on the front of the clutch booster. Wound it in a bit and now have 1 or 2mm
of play at the slave/fork end of things. Then I drove it to the local 4x4 mechaics (Thanks Paul and George) and got them to fix it.
I paid the local 4x4 guys $1006 to do it. This included an Exedy Sports Tuff Clutch (Heavy Duty), machined flywheel, spigot bush,
bearing and rear main seal. Labour was the best part of $500, clutch $450, machining flywheel $38 and rear seal $16 plus a
diposal charge for the old clutch (few bucks). So glad I didn't do it myself. They also fixed up a couple of other little things like the
handrake and hand throttle free of charge. Couldn't be happier.

Very un-mud of me:)

Thanks for everyones input I learnt a lot. Hopefully I will use the knowledge one day.

Cheers

Some time you have to wonder if it is just as easy to pay someone :) 450 with all the little extras sound pretty temtping

Hey Fellas,

Yep, I'm sure I could do the clutch but the stress of doing such a big job like that is not all that
appealing. I'm also working 6 and sometimes 7 days a week so when I get some time off I don't
want to be squirming around under the cruiser in the driveway.

I have next weekend off:) and I've been studying some maps of tracks around central vic so
next weekend is gonna be a dirty weekend:grinpimp: Its gonna be raining for a few days before I go
so hopefully there is some mud about. I'll post pics if we come across some good tracks.

Cheers.
