Hey there guys...... Me thinks me clutch is going....... I can drop it into 5th at 30kmph and red line my enigne.... ( I am assuming my diagnosses it correct)

Anyone have any sugestions about doing this swap? I was going to buy SORs clutch kit, however they say it is for a fj60, is there any difference in the outputshafts, houseing etc... from an Fj to a BJ?

Or would there be a better place to get a good clutch? something with a bit more sticking power than OEM if possible....

FJ60 and BJ60 tranny input shafts are different lengths, not sure on spline counts. The OEM clutch holds well for me and I've got the turbo boosting up my torque as well.
You could always talk to a clutch rebuilder and see what they have to say. In Vancouver, B.C. I've used Gordon Rae just off Clark Dr. around 4th Ave. They can also rebuild your existing clutch for about $150 (at least they did mine a year and a half ago) out of the truck.

An OEM clutch with the clutch booster grabs like no bodies business, it is crazy. My friends and I own a JEEP ( Just Empty Every Pocket) wagoneer that we kick the crap out of a few times a year mud running ( keeps us from beating out good vechles) Anyway, when I first got my Land Cruiser I hooked it up and drove away and there was this funny draggin noise, I looked behind me and my friend was yelling, stop stop. So I stoped and he said I gotta take it out of park and turn on the E brake. The BJ towed that thing like there wasn't anything behind it. I know that doesn't really have anything to do with clutch slipping but I have never felt mine slip at all.

All that I know is if it isn't diesel it isn't worth talking about!!!!!!
