I guess this clunk is more of a clink. It comes from the right front caliper when pressing the breaks, it only happens one time when the pedal is depressed. took of the wheel and checked all bolts to see if any were loose, and checked for any play in the caliper anywhere. and couldnt find anything!

Whaddya think?

I think that is pretty common, someone has probably stripped one of the caliper mounting holes in the knuckle,

there are a few fixes, the best, and quickest is to tap the hole (1/2-20 I THINK) do a search on this forum, I had the same thing happen to me, I wanted to pull the knuckle, weld it retap it etc to metric,,,,, you could drill it and put in a helicoil, but you got to pull the knuckle for that too,,, I found this solution and it works great!!!
for years I had even gone so far as to put in a 1/2 coarse thread bolt, and then jb weld it in place, that only works for a short time.

the 1/2 20 is just a hair bigger than what it is now which is a 12mm bolt in either 1.5 or 1.25 pitch,,

it may not be this at all
but that is my .02
good luck

I had a thunk from my front brakes. Turned out to be a missing anti-rattle clip. Search for it on this forum. Maybe this is your issue, too.
