It's not too bad but kind of like a mild u joint going out. I had an 80 with a bad transfers case lag clunk after getting back on the throttle but this is very faint. Does your 100 have a faint clunk after getting on the throttle when coasting?

It is the infamous drive shaft clunk. No biggie. Lube up and go.

This is the thread to read.....https://forum.ih8mud.com/100-series-cruisers/401590-official-clunk-thunk-driveshaft-thread.html but just lube your driveshaft. I used Moly grease. It will splatter and make a mess for the next few days. It will also stink when the grease splatters onto your exhaust pipe, I just cleaned up as best as I could...... now my clunk is gone and the stink is gone too.![]()
