Unlike most TLCA clubs, Red Hills has a large 3 State geographical footprint. This is both an asset and a detriment when trying to organize club events. With that in mind, if any of our members are planning something as simple as a one day ride or a multi-day camping trip and wouldn’t mind company please post it here. We need activities to entertain our current members as well as to encourage new members. As always YOUR ideas are greatly encouraged.

Hey folks, I’d like to help with planning a few events. What I need to know though; is what do you expect out of a club meeting/event? Does it have to be centered around a ride or would some of you rather just have a lunch and parking lot meet? Would anyone be interested in a camping weekend? Planned out months in advance, of course.

We could also do some non Land Cruiser specific events such as, a shooting/gun day, maybe a fishing day. We could even host workshops in first aid, off road driving, and simple vehicle repair for those interested. We have a vast array of backgrounds and personal interests that could be shared within our club.

Also, since we have such a large area we want to accommodate everyone by meeting in different locations if possible. What would be your max driving distance to a club event?
