Larry, I shoot throughout the year, however my shooting is exclusively in the pursuit of critters (I prefer the slow, dumb ones). I’ve never had the privilege of going to the local range therefore I’m in a poor position to answer the majority of your questions. We do have club members that frequent the range and through their connection with the range’s management, were able to set up this event. I’m assuming someone at the range can answer your questions about the electronic scoring but unfortunately I can’t.Charles,
Is there a desire to focus participation within the Red Hills team?
Also, there was no detailed information about the 100yd provided on the websites that I could access. It appears to be bench only. Is this correct? Plus in the pictures it appears that the range utilizes electronic scoring. If it is electronic, are there any caliber requirements for the system to function? [the electronic system used at the CMP range at Talladega is not compatible with 22s because the pressure pulse from a 22 round at 100yrds (or greater) is not sufficient for the system sensors to accurately locate the position of the round]
Thanks
