I think the logo needs to be fairly simple, I.E. line drawing with solid colors w/ no shading, minimal subjects in the picture, etc. It will have to be able to be printed in a really small size at times (in Trails, on shirts, stickers, etc.), so the image needs to be recognizable when small.

I tried to simplify the logo that B.D. was working on. This looks like ass cause I traced it in pencil, and I couldn't find my crayons, but something along these lines is what I was thinkin'...

I like the direction B & W V7 is heading...

My 2cents...

cent 1) I like the state outline, but maybe add the X from the flag in the background behind the state(just a straight X, not a flag waving in the breeze X).

cent 2) Clean up the lines in the 40 to the bare minimum needed to describe the truck.

cent 2.5) Add the color back in (w/o any shading)
