Just wanted to check in with everyone, seems as if we are all staying pretty busy, i would not like to see this go down so i would like to get some input on when times work best and if maybe we could work with West end cruisers to establish places to meet both east and west so that everyone can take part in trail rides, meetings, etc. Please, everyone let me know what is best i am sure with gas prices right now not everyone is going to be making to many long distance trip plans so when things slow down maybe we can all get together and take suggestions.

I met up with the west end cruisers last night. Great group of folks. THey meet the first thursday of every month in either winston, greensboro or kernersville.

Ask them what is wrong with coming down my way everyonce in awhile . Right now i am trying to figure out what is going on with gas. I want to go to the woods in a couple of weeks, maybe Ft Fisher also soon.

Nothing is wrong with moving the location about, but my experience is showing that people around here don't like to drive very far. Must be a small town thing, because my club in atlanta would draw people from over 30 minutes in every direction every month. I think I could do North Charlotte pretty easily, but Raleigh is further than all but two guys will go.

I would love to meet some people but it's kinda hard to drive to g'boro or even get out the house for a day with two little ones running around. Maybe some of us Raleigh guys could get together somewhere too for a few

Ahh...here's the ticket. We all have our own "city" meetings once a month, then all the little clubs get together once a quarter or for trail rides. I think I picked up two more 40's here in Winston this weekend. Winston now has 12 fj40's that I know of personally.....for a town this size, that's pretty good.

rutbeer, i was just heading to my aunts the other day, driving past Wake Forest University and spotted a really clean, nice, red 40. Do you know that one?

Yes and no. There are three really nice red one's here. One has the hard top on, one is a stock 79 with a soft top, and the third is lifted, topless, and has a tire cover on the spare. I have yet to catch the (third) lifted one, and last time I saw it, a young female was driving it. The hardtop one apparently has no interest in being part of the club. I have talked to him many times, and left several club cards in his seat at the YMCA.

Yea, it was the hardtop one. Oh, well.
