club idea

I was looking through some of the other clubhouse areas to see what was far sale etc... Came across a good idea.

The club uses some of its funds to buy toyota special tools that are needed (to setup front axle) and then the club members can borrow them as needed. Seemed like a good idea, espcially for some of the higher priced special tool stuff.

Just floating the idea out there for consideration.

Interesting idea. How do they do it? Using dues or raffles or... To buy them? Just wondering. And would it be kind of a hey who has *blank* and can you mail it to me at..... Or would you have one or two folks that "house" them until needed?

Good idea for the larger more expensive tools for sure. We have something similar i think, it's called "Call Roger and see what he has", lol.

The club has the factory knuckle set up tool and an engine hoist, these were purchased with the money raised by GSMTR. They are currently at my shop and the hoist needs new wheels.

Thats good.

I know some tools are kind of expensive and you only end up using them here and there but when you need it you need it.
I have a collecton of various tools, but none of the totyota special stuff.
