I have used Krylon 'red pepper' to do some touchup....

that woulda looked great on my ol 73 'maro.
 
After some Dupont 202S rubbing compound to smooth out the roughness, still can see the merge line :meh:

Over here in Aus. Your local paint place can make up aerosol in any paint code. They r $30 tho but r obviously a good match as u can use your original paint code.
Is that not an option for u guys?
 
Yes, we can do that, SEM, or TCP branded. It is not perfect but , I'm "cost effective"

gunna need to get something like this as I have to do the gutters before the deluge...
 
I bought a can of Krylon Banner Red - 2108 several years ago for touching up our '89 Freeborn Red.
It's been a good match.
 
have you got any pics of the sprayed over areas?
 
Now that I have slept on it, I have remembered that we repainted the Cruiser back in '00. The Banner Red won't match the Freeborn.
Sorry for the bad lead.
But it is a good match for '97 Honda Red.
