1985 HJ 60 diesel automatic
realized today for the first time a faint clicking noise that is linked to the rev while driving or standing in neutral. so the more rev the faster the clicking gets easy.
it sounds like one of those wooden mill wheel toys spinning in the wind (know what i mean), with the wooden plates clicking against each other. but it is quite faint.
i thought it was from the drivetrain first as it sounded so clear and "out in the open", but now that it does it standing in neutral I am not so sure anymore
any idea where that could be from? embarking on a major overhaul and want to make sure there is no "big bad news" lurking.
thanks
