1985 Toyota FJ60 LandCruiser “starter kit”, $7450 or reasonable offer (I just want to get back some of what I have in it to pay for the bio-diesel 60's upgrades needed soon...)

I call this truck a “starter kit” because it is nearly all original, and has not been modified from stock ever. So, it could be “restored” to be a classic ‘Cruiser, or it could be upgraded for serious off-roading/rock-crawling, depending on your preference. Whichever you choose, you are getting a rare ‘Cruiser that has been babied, and has rarely, if ever taken off-road or used for towing, and has NO RUST or body deterioration. I hear these are getting very hard to find in this condition. (My other ‘Cruiser, a diesel 60, certainly has its fair share of rust and other body challenges...)

- This one has a 6 cyl. 2F motor, driving a 4-spd manual transmission.
- Though it has 235K miles on it, it runs exceptionally smooth, strong and powerful.
- The clutch is smooth and solid, and the transmission shifts clean and precisely.
- It has a two-speed transfer case, with a solid low-4 range, and manual-locking hubs.
- It has a new radiator, and the A/C has been converted to new R134a refrigerant and blows strong & cold.
- It has a Blaupunkt Ontario CD-player/AM/FM stereo w/ removable face, and 6 speakers.
- The body, frame and interior are near perfect, and all body and steering bushings have been replaced over the past few years for a tight, stable on- and off-road feel.
- The suspension has re-arched leaf springs that give approx. 2-inch lift over stock.
- It rides on BF Goodrich 31 x 10.5 x 15 All-Terrain T/A’s (70%-80% tread left) w/ custom aluminum billet wheels (original “stock” wheels available…please contact me prior to making agreement to purchase truck).
- The truck was repainted in the past few years to match the original dark grey metallic. All of it still looks great except the roof, which has faded, and will need some minor paint work soon.
- The windows are tinted to a medium level all around.

Thanks for your interest in our ‘Cruiser.

This is a super clean truck for anyone looking to get into a 60 series. As Tom stated it's a great base from which to launch a really nice trail rig or even a DD for that matter.

Good luck with the sale Tom!
